She is survived by: her husband Doug McKnight; her parents, Randy Betts and Della Betts; her children, Marisa Betts, Joshua McCullen and Samantha McCullen; her stepdaughter Taylor (Master Sergeant John); her sister Misty (Clint Mason); and her granddaughter Sophia Rose Wilkins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kick Back Jack's.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Melissa's honor to the American Lung Association or to a local hospice organization.
