He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Lemons and Aleen Lemons; and his sisters, Mary Ault, Jackie Welch and Linda Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Jeffreys Lemons of Raleigh; his children, Jason Lemons (Lina) of Raleigh and Emily Sourisak (Sy) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Mya Lemons, Jake Lemons, Max Sourisak and Ben Sourisak; and his siblings, Susan White, Janice Lemons and George Lemons. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
