She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Knaup (Mike) and Philip Davis (Christi); her grandchildren, Abbie Davis (JP), Kevin Knaup (Sarah), Tyler Knaup (Adrian) and Lance Davis; and her sister Charlotte Harris. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in honor of Millie be made to support continuing education at WakeMed for all peri-operative staff. Gifts may be directed to the WakeMed Foundation to help advance professional development, training, and excellence in patient care, a cause that was deeply meaningful to Millie.
