We are sad to announce that, on October 22, 2025, at the age of 87, Millie Sykes Myrick (Raleigh, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Millie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Millie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her brother James "Jim" Allen Myrick (Earnestine Myrick); and her parents, Allen Myrick and Etta Myrick. She is survived by: her cousin Mary Sue Stewart of Raleigh.
