It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Moore Newton of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Nancy Moore shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nancy Moore farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin F. Newton; her son Joel L. Newton; her parents, Wake C. Moore and Burma Wilson Moore; and her brother Jerry C. Moore (Jean Jones Moore).
She is survived by: her daughter Julia L. Newton of Raleigh, NC.; and her brother Donald W. Moore (Jane) of Emerald Isle.
