It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Riggsbee Poole (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gowan Riggsbee and Evelyn Judson Reavis Riggsbee; her husband Glenn Wyatt Poole; her daughter Robin Leigh Poole; her sister Shirley Ann Dyckman; and her son-in-law Norman Carlton Pendergraft.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Lynn Poole Pendergraft and Teresa Anne Poole MacDonald (Jay); her grandchildren, Bryan Chadwick Pendergraft (Holly), Judson Warren MacDonald and Jancey Brink MacDonald Pierce (Benjamin); her great grandchildren, Mary Alice Poole Pendergraft and Jack Wyatt Pendergraft; her brother-in-law William Poole (Carolyn); and her grandchildren, Colby, Cooper and Bodie.
Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Samaria Baptist Church Endowment Fund.
