She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kraus and Jenny Lehman Kraus; her husband John Erwin; her siblings, Marion, Howard, Clarence, Glenda, Lenore, Libby and Mary Alice; and her sister-in-law Kathryn Neitzelt.

She is survived by: her children, Jon Erwin (Cynthia), Mark Erwin (Marilyn), Jack Erwin (Marguerite) and Julie Peterson (Lee); her grandchildren, Amanda (Greg), Beth (Mark) and Abby (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Eva, Clark, Hannah and Robin.
