He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Joseph Kick Sr. and Victoria Kopdywadska Kick; and his sister Joan Tabor. He is survived by: his wife Maryann (Olivieri); his children, Shelley (Kick) Wilkins (Bryan), Marcelle Kick and Nelson J. Kick III; his grandchildren, Zachary Wilkins, Rachel, Melanie Wilkins and Lucas Duffin; and his siblings, Vicki Regent and Edward Kick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
