She is survived by: her son Raeshawn Grimes; her parents, Vernon Jr. Grimes and Patricia Fox Grimes; and her siblings, Camisha Grimes, Latoya Grimes, Derrick Grimes, Junior Grimes, Quintin Riggins (Wendy) and Tony Wright. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Peace Baptist Church (1601 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1530 Creech Rd, Garner, NC 27529.
