It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Spivey of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Kenly, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Spivey and Lula Mae Whitley Spivey; and his wife Peggy Bowles Spivey. He is survived by: his children, Paula Barrington of West Chicago, IL., Linda Murray (Eddie) of Dudley, NC and Richard "Rick" Spivey of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Murray, John Barrington and Paul Barrington; and his sisters, Betty Benson, Bertha Mae Campbell, Geneva Spivey and Shirley Brown.

Due to COVID face coverings and social distancing are appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church 7600 Falls of Neuse Rd. Raleigh, NC 27615 or Sunshine Seniors (children's education fund) Mr. Harold Keith 820 Keith's Rd. Knightdale, NC 27545.
