He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sally Bailey Ellington and J. B. Ellington; his wife Catherine Ayscue Ellington; his son Phillip Wayne Ellington Jr.; and his grandchildren, Zachary Ellington, Cade Ellington, Aiden Lincoln and Adrienne Lincoln.
