With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rachel Debnam Fleming of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Pernell and Minnie Pernell; and her son Ritchie Jay Debnam. She is survived by : her children, Jack Debnam (Gail), Mike Debnam (April), Dean Debnam (Sesha), Vickie Debnam, Candy Debnam (Buddy), Kim Debnam (Tim Roche), John, Lisa Blalock and Amy Fleming. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (1701 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609). A reception was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 5021 Wynneford Way, Raleigh, NC 27614.
