Rebecca Clayton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Clayton of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ivie L. Clayton of Raleigh; her parents, Alton Jesse Wicker and Minnie Bridges Wicker of Sanford; and her siblings, Isaac Wicker, Jake Wicker and Rachel Wicker Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Wicker Clayton of Wilmington, NC and Lawrence Wicker Clayton (Jana) of Germantown, TN; her grandchildren, Mitch (Morgan) of Winston-Salem, NC and Katie of Germantown, TN; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Wicker of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by six nieces and one nephew.
