She is survived by: her husband Sammy L. Amerson; her son Asheton Amerson (Tracey); her grandchildren, Bailey, Tucker and Blakely of Spartanburg, SC; her siblings, Patricia B. Edwards of Raleigh, NC, Elizabeth B. Brann (Kenneth) of Greenville, NC and Duke G. Boykin, Jr. (Cathy) of Raleigh, NC.; Faith.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Bay Leaf Baptist Church in Carol's memory.
