He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Denton and Margie Denton. He is survived by: his wife Alice Medlin; his children, Robert E. Denton, Jr., Rachel Holloway and Alice Elaine (Paolo Scalici); his grandchildren, Robert E. Denton, III (Christen), Donald C. Denton (Sarah), Joshua Minton, Casey Minton and Tiffany Minton; and also Jazmine Cowan.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Boone.
