It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Lynn Chesson of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown Chesson and Maudie Elizabeth Chesson. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughters, Emily Hayes (Stephen) and Carolyn Martin (Cody); his grandchildren, Abigail, Breccan, Judah, Aliza and Shiloh Hayes; and his sisters, Jane Chesson and Diane Williams (Martin). He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227).
