He was predeceased by: his parents, Mossie Dockey Gaddy and William Arthur Gaddy; and his brothers, Rembert Gaddy, Hubert Gaddy, James Gaddy, Robert Gaddy and William Gaddy.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Jean Spivey Gaddy; his daughter Camille Gaddy Burton (Waymond); his grandchildren, Josiah (Zara) and Jadyn; his sisters, Carrie Mae Brock of Raleigh, Elaine Oden (Richard) of Schenectady and Cornelia Liles (John) of Lilesville; Roland and Jean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
