He is survived by: his children, Patrick Strickland (Bonnie) of Taylorsville and Michelle Langston (Chris) of Snow Hill; his siblings, J. C. Strickland of Garner and Linda McCollum of Seven Springs; and his caregiver Deborah Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
