Though Romesh may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Romesh touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sister Shobha; his parents, Rambeharilal Shonek and Saraswati Dixit; and his sister Pappi. He is survived by: his wife Toshi; his children, Gita and Shishir; his daughter-in-law Mi Ja; and his siblings, Mohan, Satish and Sushma.
Memorial donations can be made to the Hindu Society of North Carolina, local libraries, or programs promoting reading, languages, and the arts.
