He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry W. "Sam" Crowson and Myrtle Wetmore Crowson Eggers; his stepfather Lee K. Eggers; his siblings, Anne Crowson Beard (Jack), Hank Crowson, Sammy Crowson and Johnny Crowson; his stepsister Kathryn Eggers Kennedy; and his brother-in-law Jeff Dodson.
He is survived by: his wife Renée Crowson of Raleigh; his daughters, Kristin White (Jeff) of Raleigh and Karen King (Chris) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Weston, Campbell, Lachlan and Maeve; his sisters, Mary Katherine Anderson (Ralph) of Littleton, CO, Susan Kelly (John) of Knightdale and Bonnie Dodson of Sneads Ferry; his stepbrother Steven Eggers of Point Lookout, NY; and his sister-in-law Barbara Crowson of Richlands, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
