It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Evelyn Whitney of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Madeline Violette (Lawlor) and Leith Violette; and her sisters, Joanne Violette, Kathy Longendyke and Elaine Berriman.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Rosie), Greg of Raleigh and Peggy Holmes of Tucker, GA; her grandson Daniel (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Walter and Graham of Corvallis, Oregon.; and her brother Joseph Violette.
