With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Sanders Cash of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Sanders and Alma Sanders. She is survived by: her husband Linwood Cash; her children, Doug Carlisle (Angel) of Durham and Denise Carisle (Gerhard Pilcher) of Mt. Airy; her grandchildren, Ashley Wentz (Brooks), Bryce Pilcher (Marissa), Chase Pilcher (Bonnie), Dylan Carlisle (Martha) and Lauren Interiano (Darwin); her great grandchildren, Addison Wentz, Drake Wentz, Wrenley Pilcher, Henry Pilcher and Lukas Interiano; her sisters, Cathy Batten (Jeff), Lenna Warren (Norman) and Becky Freeman (Tommy); her sister-in-law Faye Cavalchire; and her niece Kristi Bidwell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hudson Funeral Home (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
