We are sad to announce that, on January 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Ruthe Shatz of Raleigh, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ruthe leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ruthe may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin J. Kanin and Celia Kanin. She is survived by: her husband David Shatz; her sister Judy; and her sons, Michael (Lisa), Dan (Angela), Peter (Michelle) and Matt (Lisa). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three grandsons-in-law, and four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless cousins.

For those wanting to make a charitable donation in Ruthe's name the March of Dimes or The Living Desert would be preferred choices.
