She is survived by: her parents, Richard Alpha Franks and Nancy Blake Franks; her daughter Alyssa Sanderford of Raleigh; and her siblings, Scott Franks (Christy) of Fremont, NC and Wendy Runkal (John) of Wilmington, NC.. She is also survived by her family that also includes, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
