It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sanford Peter Ceppos of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his husband Bryan Courtney Ward; his parents, Melvin Harry Ceppos and Sophia Samusevich Ceppos; and his husband Douglas Jones. He is survived by: his children, Karin Johnston (Christopher) of Sanford, FL, Jaimie Francis (Charles) of Raleigh, NC, Matthew Jones (Meredith) of Raleigh, NC and Sara Ceppos of Raleigh, NC.; his grandchildren, Allison Francis, Avery Johnston, Elliott Francis, Michael Jones and Virginia Jones; and his brother Larry Ceppos (Patricia). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
