We are sad to announce that, on October 3, 2025, at the age of 61, Scott Peter Boyd of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Teaneck, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stockdale and Diane Stockdale. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeff Boyd (Janet), Cathy Boyd and Kevin Stockdale (Maureen); his nephews, Jeffrey Boyd, Corey Boyd, Matthew Boyd and Luke Stockdale; and his niece Madison Stockdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice or the NY Mets in the hopes that someday they will win another World Series.
