She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris "Murray" Goldman and Ruth Goldman (Silberman); and her husband Marty Mayer. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Levine (David); her grandsons, Noah Levine (Samantha) and Caleb Levine; her son Joseph Ratner (Emma); her grandchildren, Victoria-Rose Ratner and Chase Ratner; her daughter Rosalind "Roz" Weil (Bryan); her grandchildren, Rachel Slier (Jenna) and Nathan Weil (Kaylee); her great grandchildren, Sadie Grey and Rainer Weil; her brother Avery Goldman (Hope); her niece Sophie; and her nephew Max.
In the summer of 2020, because of ill health and the worldwide COVID epidemic Sharon moved to Austin Texas to live with her daughter and son in law Rosalind and Bryan Weil, where she lived the remainder of her life.
