He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Vallant. He is survived by: his wife Hannah Bowyer; his daughter Vidya Vallant; his mother Molly Vallant; his sister Kerry Vallant Morrow; and his nieces, Maria Morrow and Susanna Morrow.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
