Sherie Broadwell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherie Broadwell of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sherie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sherie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hoyt and Virginia Hoyt; and her husband James Luther Broadwell. She is survived by: her sons, Jamie (Kelly) and Mike Otwell (Corinne); and her brother Robert Hoyt (Linda) of Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

A committal service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens (770 Stadium Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
