He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachelle Spellman and John Spellman; his stepfather John Maass; his father-in-law Bill Todd; and his brother-in-law Kevin Prull.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Todd Spellman; his children, Kristen Spellman and Stephen Spellman, Jr.; his sister Nancy Prull; and his sisters-in-law, Melissa Ercolino, Susan Maldari (Chris) and Eileen Burzumato (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home Chapel (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
