We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2023, at the age of 75, Stephen Mallard Whaley of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Pigford Whaley and Virginia Odom Whaley; and his wife Vickie Taylor Whaley. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Battle Whaley (Ray Montgomery), Jenna Whaley Nunnery (Jason Nunnery) and Susan Blair Whaley Blackley (Patrick Blackley); his grandchildren, Bowen Robert Nunnery, Presley Taylor Nunnery and Bella Grace Blackley; his sister Patricia Whaley Jackson; and his brother-in-law John Ronald Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
