He is survived by: his children, Angie Smith, Kileema Gray and Jeremy Hinton; and his siblings, Delmar Evans (Kim), Leon Evans, Timothy Evans, Kathy Lunsford, Amy Evans, Theresa Evans, Devilawn Evans Heggs, Latrice Evans and Cynthia Gilmore. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Poplar Springs Christian Church (6115 Old Stage Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
