He is survived by: his children, Michelle Harvey of Garner and Matthew Sherman of Raleigh; his sister Kathy Stoney; his grandchildren, Shaun Ramsey, Paige Ramsey, Melanie Ramsey, Mikayla Harvey and Justin Harvey; and his great grandchild Luka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
