She is survived by: her husband Melvin Starnes of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her children, Greg Starnes of Raleigh, NC, Brad Starnes (Jill) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Kelley Higgins (Stuart) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Julianna Sandlin (Ryan) of Apex, NC, Jensen Starnes Castelloe (Mike) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Tyler Starnes of Atlanta, GA, Andrew Starnes of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Zach Higgins (Payton) of Pittsboro, NC, Nick Higgins (Sarah) of Raleigh, NC and Gabe Higgins of Apex, NC; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Sandlin, Liston Castelloe and Lowen Castelloe.
