He was predeceased by: his parent Drs; and his sister Dr. Sherrie Harris. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Dr. Theodore Robert Jr.; his daughter-in-law Marianna; and his grandson Alexander.
Mid-career, Ted moved from North Carolina to work at the EPA headquarters in Washington, D. C. for several years where he continued his contributions to advance EPA's computer capabilities.
