He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Baucom and Helen Lewis Baucom; and his sister Vickie McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Aiken Baucom; and his siblings, John Baucom of Chester, VA, Kim Baucom (Ally) of Zebulon, NC and Gail Humerick (George) of Miamisburg, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
