Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Baucom and Helen Lewis Baucom; and his sister Vickie McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Aikin Baucom; and his siblings, John Baucom of Chester, VA, Kim Baucom (Ally) of Zebulon, NC and Gail Humerick (George) of Miamisburg, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Renaissance Funeral Home (7615 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Historic Oakwood Cemetery (701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601).
