With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Edward Kee Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Thomas leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his daughter Portia Kee; his granddaughter Victoria Kee Cromwell of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Brenda Kee (Wayne Brown) of West Bloomfield, MI and Timothy Kee (Dietra) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martin Street Baptist Church (1001 E Martin St, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Thomas and Elnora Kee Endowment at Shaw University.
