He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Dowd; his sons, Michael Scanlan (Cassie) and David Scanlan (Brianna); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose and Jaxon Isaiah; and his sister Eileen Pusateri (Mike) of Chicago.
