He is survived by: his pets, Khime and Kali; his daughter Abbey Smith of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Hayden and Evan Bell; his former wife Stephanie Smith (Ochman) of Dunn, NC; and his brothers, Shawn and Scott Smith.
