He is survived by: his brothers, Philip, Benjamin and Vincent; his wife Carol Agusta of Raleigh, NC; his son Victor Agusta Jr. (Lori) of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Samuel (Kailey), Sophia, Bella and Grace; his children, Michael McSweeney Agusta (Laurie Ann) of Mt. Airy, MD and Stefanie Agusta (Steve Albert) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Zoe and Sullivan. He is also survived by brothers.

Due to his impactful work with the Clinic, he received the prestigious Angel Oak Award in 2018 from the Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club Foundation.
