She is survived by: her children, Tracy Elizabeth Byrd Brinkley of Thomasville and James Theron Byrd III of Concord; her sister Amy Margareta Sears Barfield of Lexington; her grandchildren, Grant Thomas Brinkley, Virginia Anne Brinkley Snyder (Bryan Thomas), Jessica Lynne Brinkley Lee (Christopher), James Theron Byrd IV (Paige Record) and Davis Sears Byrd (Ellen Coniff); her great grandchildren, Harrison Thomas Brinkley, Weston Kim Brinkley, Amelia Grace Snyder and Henry Grant Snyder; and her nieces, Lillian Margareta Barfield Koontz (Jerry Joshua), Anna Lane Barfield, Shannon Sale Hunt (William) and Katherine Lewis Sale.
