He is survived by: his wife Linda Scearce Jones; his children, Brian Jones and Rachel Sweeney (Kerry) of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Catherine Womack of Halifax, Dianne Anderson of South Boston and Robert Jones of Halifax; and his pets, Chloe and Ollie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Home's Mt. Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel (3935 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540).
