He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Frueh and Helen Swensen Frueh; his wife Pamela Frueh; and his grandchildren, Jason, Jesse and Nadia Jesse.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Frueh (Beth), Douglas Frueh (Ellen), Cheryl Hanley (Douglas) and Amy Matcho; his stepsons, James Sleeper (Michele), Lawrence Sleeper and Matthew Sleeper (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Amy, Becky, Stephen, Brian, Joshua, Ariel, Brittany, Wesley, Ben, Anjelica, Charlotte, Julia, Kayla and Ian; and his siblings, Ester Swain and Stephen Frueh (Lynn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
