We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 93, Willard Charles Haberkamp of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edward Haberkamp and Helen Fasse-Haberkamp; his wife Edna Kluge-Haberkamp; and his children, Wayne and Cheryl.
He is survived by: his sons, William (Paula Haberkamp) of Cookeville, TN and Wade (Lynn Haberkamp) of Linden, MI; his grandchildren, Melissa of Washington, D. C., Brian of Cookeville and Nicole of Linden; and his sister Janice Mae Ridgeway of Bothell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lee Funeral Home - Raleigh (831 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). After his wife's death in 2020, the years following covid were difficult and lonely until he began a friendship with Cheryl Whitfield, a widow herself, and a friend of Edna's. Bill and Cheryl became a married couple and enjoyed serving together in their local church.
