We are sad to announce that, on June 26, 2022, at the age of 78, William Barrett of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Forsyth, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Barrett and Kathryn Ledford Barrett; and his brother Charles Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Mathis Stowe Barrett; his children, Tammy Whitworth (Keith), Bill Barrett (Stefanie), Darren Barrett (Alicia), Michelle Stowe and Thomas Stowe (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Zack Whitworth, Kelsey, Alexis Morris, Kyle, Avery Barrett, Zoey Stowe, Zaylee Stowe, Abigal Wilson and Savannah Wilson; and his brothers, Oscar Barrett (Martha) and Lamar Barrett (Lynn).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
