With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Charles Wisely (Raleigh, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wilson Wisely and Mable Ruth Mahan Wisely; his brothers, Raymond Wisely (Mary Lee) and Kenneth Wisely (Faye); and his great grandchild Mason Farley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Jean Barringer Wisely; his children, Kris Harris (Sam), Kim Armstrong (David) and Jonathan Wisely (Gina); his grandchildren, Samuel Harris III (Carrie), Patti Jo Harris, George Armstrong, William Armstrong (Felicity), Naomi Armstrong, Nicholas Wisely, Emma Wisely and Benjamin Wisely; and his great grandchild Samuel Harris IV.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beacon Baptist Church (2110 Trawick Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
