He is survived by: his wife Marie Giles Cross; his children, Tarra Cross, Xaviar Cross Hadley (Glenn), Sabrina Smith McKee, William Cross II (Misty), Benjamin Cross, Gabriel Smith and David Smith; and his siblings, Frances Cross Ashley (Darek), Gerald L. Cross and Elijah Cecil Cross, Jr. (Sheryl). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
