He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kluttz and Mable Kluttz (Peeler); and his wife Lola. He is survived by: his children, Robin Gurley (Tony) of Raleigh, William Kluttz III (Deborah) of Carmel, Indiana, Robert Kluttz (Teresa) of Trussville, Alabama and Sherri Kluttz of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Robert Gurley, Michael Gurley, Scott Kluttz, Andrew Kluttz and Danielle Kluttz. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Peace United Church of Christ, 2714 West Market Street, Greensboro NC 27403.
