He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Jason Gurda (Lauren) and Melanie Hewitt (Marc); his grandchildren, Katherine, Andrew Gurda, Gregory and Cameron Hewitt; and his siblings, Kathy Gillian (Bill), Tom Gurda and Dan Gurda.
