He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mitchell (Kim) of Hickory, NC and Rodney Mitchell (Megan) of Spring Hope, NC; his grandchildren, Shane Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ryan Mitchell, Alan Davis (Kara) of Cottonwood Heights, UT, Charley Mitchell (Emily) of Florence, SC and Renee Robinson (Bruce) of Harker Heights, TX; his great grandchildren, Joseph (Savannah), Michaela, Caiden, Ellison, Liam Mitchell of Wake Forest, NC, Savana Fowler (Jared) of Four Oaks, NC, Paxton Mitchell of Florence, SC, Skylar, Remy Mitchell, Paisley Riley of Myrtle Beach, SC, Micah and Astoria Davis of Cottonwood Heights, UT; his great great grandchildren, Lillie and Ryan Mitchell of Wake Forest, NC.; his close friend Linda Smith of Raleigh, NC.; Billie Joe and Bill.
